That or sitting outside nude, which I wouldn't advise unless you're extremely confident in yourself. I would suggest using tanning sprays/lotions. Only apply it to the areas in which you want to make darker. This is what I do whenever I want to get rid of my bikini/tank-top strap tanlines.
