Jen asked:
I have tried waxing at the spa before but it seems like so much trouble and a waste of money to keep going. I have tried waxing at home and it just left me with red bumps. I have also tried Nair which left the same red bumps. What has really worked is shaving but the red bumps come soon after so I cant really wear a bikini the next day. I want to know what has worked best for other people, maybe I could try that out. Any at-home products??

Hi Jen, no one has answered your question yet so I’ll tell you my bikini hair removal system. If you don’t mind pain, and since you have waxed before, then maybe you should try Silk-Epil from Braun.com. It cost about $60.00 but you keep it forever and it works forever. The only set back is the little red bumps are still there too however, just shave days before so the little red bumps are gone and the hair is not. The silk-epil works like a electric tweezer(s) and pulls each hair out and it doesn’t grow back for weeks. I love it and the more you use it, the more the hair doesn’t grow back at all. It is worth the price. Anyway, hope I gave you a good idea to try but remember, it does hurt at first so use the lowest speed and grit your teeth. We women go through all the pain to look good…huh!
