Where in the world is speedos the common choice of male swimsuits?

   Speedos are very Continental European.

   I guess any self respecting man with a good physique would choose a Speedo over baggy shapeless shorts or baggies. I think they are very flattering on the right person. Paunches and pot bellies should be covered up.
